    Ceres will be speaking at the EfW Conference, March 2026

    Dr Stephen Wise and Simone Aplin will be speaking at the EfW Conference on 4-5 March 2026. Simone will be chairing 2 panels on plastics recycling, one discussing the market for chemical recycling and another on the factors required for more stable recycled polymer markets.

    In March 2025, CIWM published Ceres WRE’s report on the systemic impact of the ETS on the waste and resources sector. We have built on this thought leadership with a second report, this time for Suez, that assessed the actions that local authorities can take to mitigate the cost of ETS. ETS will impact all actors in the EfW value chain.
